The DT-M001 module is designed tostudy a steering wheel angle measurement device, an automotive function essential to the operation of the ESP system.

This sensor, mounted between the light switches and the steering wheel, provides the ESP computer with information on the steering angle of the front wheels. The measurement, converted into digital data, is transmitted on a CAN High Speed data bus (500 Kbits/s).

2 analog outputs on the front panel measure the signal generated by the sensor before converting it to digital.
