Electric power steering training model

The MT-DAE is an electric power steering system found on PSA vehicles such as the C3. It is equipped with a brake at the end of the rack to create resistance, and a force sensor to measure the force exerted by the rack.

The MT-DAE is a mock-up forstudying an Electric Power Steering system as fitted to PSA vehicles (original Citroën C3 components).

It is fitted with a brake at the end of the rack to create resistance, and a strain gauge to measure the force exerted by the rack.

The front panel features sockets for measuring signals such as temperature sensor, torque sensor, power-assist motor consumption and CAN multiplexed network lines. A fault box function also enables the creation of electrical faults.
